be sure to be on the lookout on tuesday/wednesday after...

Israel’s defence minister said today that he has received intelligence warnings that some militants, including the Lebanese guerrilla group Hezbollah, may try to disrupt this week’s Mideast summit.
Defence Minister Shaul Mofaz told Israel Army Radio said the information was not concrete, but that he couldn’t rule out militants would try to assassinate Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas.
“We are talking about many bits of information that they (militants) ... will do everything to harm this summit and its success,” Mofaz said.
Abbas, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and the leaders of Egypt and Jordan are meeting tomorrow in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheik.

RAMALLAH, West Bank — Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's motorcade drove past Yasser Arafat's glass-enclosed tomb Monday, one more snub to the late Palestinian leader who had been largely ignored by the Bush administration.
